Kyrgyzstan is a land of contrasting natural landscapes, where the majestic Tien Shan mountains meet crystal-clear lakes and picturesque gorges. It is home to one of the largest high-altitude lakes in the world — Issyk-Kul, surrounded by mountains and known for its mild climate. The southern shore of the lake is famous for unusual natural formations, such as the “Skazka” Canyon, as well as traditional settlements preserving the nomadic way of life. In the country’s central region lies Song-Kul Lake — a high-mountain pasture where you can witness authentic nomadic life in the summer. The region’s historical heritage is represented by ancient cities such as Balasagun and architectural monuments including the Burana Tower.
The tour begins in Bishkek with a city sightseeing tour, introducing its main attractions. The journey then continues to Lake Issyk-Kul, visiting cultural and natural sites, including gorges and historical complexes. In Karakol, guests explore local architecture and take a trip to the scenic Jeti-Oguz Gorge. The route follows the southern shore of the lake, featuring a visit to “Skazka” Canyon and a falconry demonstration. The highlight of the tour is a visit to Song-Kul Lake, with an overnight stay in yurts and an immersive experience of nomadic life. The tour concludes with a return to Bishkek, a visit to Burana Tower, and departure home.
