The Jayran Eco-Center is located in a picturesque desert area near Bukhara, surrounded by unique landscapes. The area features typical desert plants such as saxaul, astragalus, and others, as well as a variety of animals — from lizards and steppe tortoises to larger mammals like kulans and gazelles. A central natural feature of the territory is a complex of four lakes with varying salinity and depth, attracting numerous birds and serving as a watering place for wild animals.
The excursion begins with a transfer from Bukhara to the Jayran Eco-Center and a meeting with the guide. Guests visit the aviary complex, observe rare and endangered animal species, and take a walking tour around the center’s grounds. The highlight of the excursion is a visit to the lake complex, where you can see wild animals and birds in their natural habitat. The day concludes with a transfer back to Bukhara, leaving lasting impressions of the region’s unique nature.
