Nestled in the foothills of the Ile-Alatau Mountains, on the road to Big Almaty Lake, lies a destination that doesn’t require a long journey.

The noise of the city gives way to the tranquility of a coniferous forest, the sound of a mountain river, and views of snow-capped peaks.

Pana Ayusai is not simply a hotel, but a complete nature retreat. Its philosophy combines modern comfort with ethnic elements of Kazakh culture: wooden architecture, natural materials, and local interior details create an atmosphere that is distinctly different from a typical countryside resort.
The property features the Pana Ayusai Visit Center, which provides guest information, safety and service support, as well as a souvenir shop, parking, and a professional photographer who can capture and instantly print memorable photos for guests.

The resort offers three types of accommodation:
|
Camp Glamping tent for two guests with a double bed, tea station, and hammock on the terrace. Bathroom facilities are located in a separate building nearby. |
Cabin An 18 m² cabin for up to three guests, featuring two beds, a tea station, refrigerator, and board games. A Cabin+ option is also available with upgraded amenities. |
Lodge A cabin for up to four guests with two double beds and a private fire pit area with a barbecue grill. |
The resort is also home to several dining and leisure venues, allowing guests to spend the entire day on the property without having to leave.

– Hiking excursions – to the Ayusai waterfalls, along the Myn Koz trail, and along the historic “Japanese Road,” a route connected to the history of Japanese prisoners of war who worked in this area. Tours range from 1 to 4 hours.
– E-bikes – ride to Big Almaty Lake without the strenuous uphill climb.
– Activities – tubing, horseback riding, and archery.
In winter, the activities shift to snow-based experiences, making the resort an attractive year-round destination.

The resort’s group facilities deserve special attention: a coworking space accommodating up to 80 people, a terrace for up to 300 guests, and an ethno-café with 70 seats.
This combination makes Pana Ayusai suitable not only for family getaways, but also for corporate meetings, team-building activities, and outdoor celebrations – a format in which SkyWay, as a leader in Kazakhstan’s MICE sector, has particular expertise.
SkyWay is Kazakhstan’s leading inbound tour operator and a leader in inbound and MICE tourism, with an approximately 40% market share. Working directly with Pana Ayusai and other properties in the region, SkyWay offers attractive accommodation rates.
In addition to Kazakhstan, the company provides tours in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan.
